Cointreau is a liqueur based on sweet and bitter orange peels. The oranges come mainly from Brazil and France. The liqueur is obtained after maceration of the dried orange peels in alcohol, added water and sugar. Brilliant and crystalline, this drink is 40% alcoholic. It is ideal for various cocktails, such as Angevin soup for example. There is also a concentrated variety of Cointreau at 60°. This form is dedicated to the great restaurateurs for the preparation and refinement of their recipes.
