Among the 60 Australian wine regions spread from west to east, mainly in the south of the continent, the Hunter Valley, Clare Valley, Margaret River (Sauvignon Blanc), Swan Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Yarra Valley (Chardonnay) are internationally renowned.
