The AOC Touraine belongs to the sub-region of the same name located in the Loire Valley. The vineyard extends over approximately 4,000 hectares, the boundaries of which are regularly redefined, and is carried by soils with variable constitution.
The climates of this terroir are also very variable, with an oceanic tendency. The vineyard produces 251,000 hectoliters annually. Chenin, sauvignon, arbois and chardonnay are the grape varieties of the white wines. These wines can develop mineral notes with age if they are made from Chenin, but all share intense floral aromas.
