Most of the Lebanese vines are planted in the Bekaa Valley, one of the first regions in the world where traces of winemaking have been found. Located at an altitude of about 1,000 m and surrounded by mountains, this valley enjoys a unique climate with long and temperate summers, wet winters and an average temperature of 25 degrees.
The grape varieties are mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and Cinsault, but other varieties such as Merlot, Mourvèdre and Sauvignon Blanc also give very good results.
