In the top three producers in the world with Italy and France, the world's largest vineyard in terms of surface area, Spain is one of those old-world countries for which vines have always been part of the culture. With a great diversity of styles, in red, white, rosé or sparkling, Spanish wines are today among the most competitive with a remarkable price-quality ratio.
Spanish wines come from different wine-growing regions, stretching from north to south and from east to west, each with its own specificities. In terms of grape varieties, Spain cultivates mainly the white Airen grape variety. Most of the international grape varieties are present such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling for the whites.
Known for their high quality, charm and character, Spanish wines will surprise the simple wine lover and satisfy the great enthusiast.
