The Southwest of France is an important wine region, consisting of several islands of vineyards and vines between Aurillac and Rodez in the northeast to the Spanish border south of Hendaye. The region covers more or less Aquitaine (excluding the Gironde) and Midi-Pyrénées.
The rosé wines of the South-West region seduce by their beautiful pink color, their minerality and their balance between sweet and fruity tastes. The grape varieties used to produce these quality rosés are: Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
