Brouilly is produced in the Beaujolais vineyard, a vineyard in the east of France and more precisely in the wine region of the Beaujolais Crus. The Gamay grape variety is the only main grape variety that can be used to make Brouilly wine.
This Red Wine has the French AOC label as well as the European AOP label AOP. It also has the mention "cru". The mention "Cru" is a distinctive sign of quality within a vineyard, both in terms of terroir and climate, as well as in terms of winemaking and final tasting.
