Chambertin-Clos de Bèze belongs to that exceptional region which is the Côte des Nuits, also called the Champs-Elysées de Bourgogne.
Located between Dijon and Corgolin, about three hundred kilometers southeast of Paris, the vineyard of the Côte des Nuits grows on a narrow band of hills that extends over about twenty kilometers and sometimes no longer than three hundred meters. The Clos de Bèze shares the Imperial Crown with the Chambertin and is part of the Grands Crus named after the decree of 1937
