Givry

The Givry AOC is located on the heart of the Côte, opposite Chalon-sur-Saône, on 260 hectares of Upper Jurassic slopes. This vineyard has based its reputation on its red wines. The total production of the two colors is 13,000 hl/year.

 

The reds of Givry are very marked by their grape variety (pinot noir) and have a beautiful personality: their color is purple with purple reflections. Quite tannic, these wines become rounder and more supple after 3 to 5 years.
