The AOC Patrimonio produces an average of 15,000 hl per year, 50% is red wine.
The red wine of Patrimonio is produced in different communes of the Nebbiu region: Saint-Florent, Oletta, Santo-Pietro-di-Tenda, Poggio d'Oletta, Farinole, Barbaggio.
This red wine can only be produced from one main grape variety: Niellucciu. Granitic soils, sandy limestone, silica-clay and a Mediterranean climate are the assets of its terroir.
This red wine has a pretty ruby color. Rich, well-structured, spicy reds with a fruity aroma that can be kept for 6 to 7 years.
