This Anjou vineyard is mainly located south of Angers, in the Maine-et-Loire region, as well as a few communes in the Deux-Sèvres and Vienne regions. On a surface area of 2,400 hectares, its annual production can reach 135,000 hectoliters.
Its position in the Loire Valley allows it, in addition to the oceanic climate, to benefit from a microclimate. The winds are dry and less than 600mm of water is recorded annually.
The red Anjou wines have a supple and round character with fruity and floral aromas, they seduce by their finesse and silky tannins as well as by a robe ranging from ruby to garnet. The Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties are the majority in this wine, with a proportion of accessory grape varieties (Pineau d'Aunis and Grolleau) less than or equal to 30% of the grape varieties.
