The appellation's red wines are made from the main grape varieties: Grenache noir, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Carignan. Secondary grape varieties are authorized up to a maximum of 20%. Only Marsellan and Vermentino cannot exceed 10% of the grape varieties.
