Entraygues-et-du-Fel is a French wine, located in the north of the department of Aveyron, and in a very small part of Cantal. It is the northernmost of the vineyards of the South-West and the southernmost of the vineyards of Auvergne.
The wine-growing vocation of this vineyard is a thousand years old since as early as the first century, vast clearing works were started in order to transform the steep slopes of the gorges into wine-growing terraces. From 4 hectares at that time, the vines now cover more than 22 hectares. The grapes benefit from a climate that is both Mediterranean and Massif Central.
The grape varieties authorized for the reds are cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, gamay, fer servadou, jurançon noir, pinot noir, merlot noir and mouyssaguès.
