In the heart of the Lot valley, between Rouergue and Auvergne, stretches the vineyard "Entraygues le Fel". On about twenty hectares, the winegrowers are proud to perpetuate the wine-growing tradition which dates back to the Roman occupation.
Only the construction in terraces makes it possible to tame the deep valleys of the Lot and Truyère rivers and to shape vineyards there. The wine-growing terroirs are of two kinds: primary schist hillsides to the west (Le Fel), and barene and granite land to the east (Entraygues). The south-facing exposure allows maximum sunshine throughout the year. The altitude varies between 200 and 400 m. The climate is under the double influence of the Mediterranean and the Massif Central.
The production of this vineyard is about 800 hectoliters or about 100 000 bottles (white: 25%). The grape varieties are essentially Chenin for the whites (dry, nervous and very fragrant). The implantation on a vineyard of wine-growing tradition ensures the authenticity and typicity of the wines.
