The Coteaux de l'Aubance appellation is granted to the sweet white wine of controlled origin produced on the hillsides bordering the Aubance. This appellation is part of the vineyard of the Loire Valley.
The Coteaux de l'Aubance vineyard has been classified AOC since 1950. It covers an area of about 200 hectares south of Angers on the left bank of the Loire. The vineyards are located on ventilated and well exposed hillsides, conducive to the over ripening of the grapes. The wines of the Coteaux de l'Aubance are made exclusively from Chenin Blanc.
A beautiful golden yellow color with green reflections, the sweet white wine of the Coteaux de l'Aubance offers a beautiful balance between the richness of its aromas and the freshness marked by the minerality of its terroir. These qualities are to be discovered in particular by tasting the vintages offered by the Domaine de Montgilet.
