Côtes de Toul is a wine with an AOC appellation since 1998. In 1951, an important replanting campaign was undertaken. It is produced in the west area of Nancy and south-west on the left bank of the Moselle river, precisely in Meurthe-et-Moselle.
The vineyard, spread over 100 hectares, benefits from a south and south-east exposure resulting in ideal climatic conditions (optimal sunshine). It mainly produces grey wine from the Gamay grape. The latter is obtained by immediate pressing of the grape that has just been harvested. The red wine benefits from the pinot noir. The wines are usually kept for 3 to 4 years.
