The vineyard present in Lorraine represents more than 115 hectares for the whole region, along the Moselle river mainly around Metz and Toul. The production of about 7,500 hectoliters per year comes from 2 ancient terroirs: the Moselle and Côtes-de-Toul appellations.
The grape varieties selected to repopulate these sensitive vineyards are above all early: Auxerrois, Müller-Thurgau and Pinot blanc for the white varieties. Although little recognized by the general public, Lorraine offers fruity and pleasant whites.
