AOC Côte de Brouilly (330 hectares) corresponds to the slopes of Mont Brouilly, a hill detached from the eastern edge of the Monts du Beaujolais. It is enclosed in the Brouilly appellation area. In Côte de Brouilly, the granite soils are less present than in Brouilly.
