The AOC Côtes-du-Luberon, renamed AOC Luberon in 2009, covers 3,050 hectares of vines planted on the slopes and foothills of the Luberon massif, east of Cavaillon in the Vaucluse department.
This terroir, the southernmost of the Rhone Valley, is a transition zone that combines the characteristics of the Mediterranean climate of the Rhone Valley with those of Haute Provence. The sunny lands, sheltered from the Mistral wind under the Luberon massif, benefit from a cooler atmosphere with more stable temperatures.
Grenache noir and Syrah produce full-bodied red wines that are supple on the palate, well-balanced, with fruity aromas.
