Organized in an open V shape of 45 km by 20 km, the Terrasses du Larzac are leaning against the northern slopes of the Causse du Larzac which culminates at more than 800 m at the Pic Saint Baudille. It is one of the major characteristics of this area which presents significant differences in height between the foothills and the relief.
The red wines come from the following five grape varieties: grenache, mourvèdre, syrah, carignan, cinsault. They must be blended with grapes or wines from at least two of these varieties.
