Cairanne is a charming village, which reveals itself at the bend of a rocky outcrop and retains visitors, seduced by its red wines. The assets of the appellation: a "village" spirit maintained for several generations of winegrowers who have made their wine and their trade a craft for excellence.
For these red wines: Grenache dominates for the grape varieties at least 50%, alongside Syrah and Mourvèdre (minimum 20%) which have found here a preferred terroir. Can be associated to it to a maximum of 30%, grape varieties such as Cinsault or old Carignan vines which bring back a good acidity/alcohol balance. The red wines are characterized by aromas of red fruits and spices.
