"Domaine des Roches Neuves: a family heritage in the heart of Saumur
Since 1850, Domaine des Roches Neuves has perpetuated a wine-growing tradition in the heart of the Loire Valley. Located in Varrains, a stone's throw from Saumur, the estate covers 28 hectares of vines, mainly in the Saumur-Champigny and Saumur appellations.
The vines, divided into 61 plots, are rooted in varied soils, offering a rich and complex aromatic palette to each vintage. Cabernet Franc, the region's emblematic grape variety, expresses all its finesse and elegance here.
Under the leadership of Thierry and Marie Germain, who took over the estate in 1991, Roches Neuves has become a benchmark in natural and biodynamic wines. By working in harmony with nature, they produce authentic wines, reflecting the unique character of each vintage.
The wines of Domaine des Roches Neuves are renowned for their balance, freshness and aromatic complexity. Whether you opt for a red Saumur-Champigny, with notes of red fruits and spices, or a white Saumur, more floral and mineral, you will discover wines marked by terroir and authenticity.
