Graham's
Founded in 1820 by brothers William and John Graham, Graham's is an iconic figure in the Portuguese wine landscape. For over two centuries, it has perpetuated a tradition of excellence and innovation, producing Port wines of exceptional quality. Graham’s Port quickly became known as a producer of exceptional ports. This success culminated in the building of the Graham’s Lodge in Gaia.
In 1882, Andrew James Symington sailed from Scotland to Porto to work for the Graham family, thus beginning the long association between the families. In 1970, Andrew’s grandsons acquired the company from the Graham family, and have continued to grow its reputation for producing incredible ports.
1820 - The Founding of Graham's
Originally trading in textiles, William and John Graham accepted 27 barrels of port in payment of an outstanding debt in 1820. Inspired by this wine, they decided to devote their energy to producing the best port wines from the Douro Valley, and this was how Graham’s Port was born.

The incredible, multi-layered, creamy palate reveals finely textured flavours of soft caramel and treacle with a counterpoint of citrous and apricot preserves and finely polished tannins. Whilst sumptuously rich and concentrated, there is still quite a remarkable freshness that holds everything exquisitely in balance. A wine redolent of age, elegance, and refinement.
