The 25th edition of the Percée du Vin Jaune will take place on February 3, 4 and 5, 2023 in the municipality of Voiteur in the Jura. One of the most important events in French wine and a unique opportunity to discover the 2016 vintage of this rare wine.

The "mise en perce" ceremony, that is, the opening of a 228-litre Vin Jaune barrel, the highlight of the weekend, will take place on Saturday morning, February 4. Members of the Association des Ambassadeurs des Vins Jaunes, dressed in the official gold suit, will escort the barrel to the Voiteur church.

There will be a religious service at 9:30 am, during which Monsignor Jean-Luc Garin, Bishop of the Diocese of St Claude, will bless the barrel. This will be followed by a procession through the streets of the town, which will end at 11:15 a.m. at the fairgrounds where the official ceremony of the Percée du Vin Jaune will take place.
