in order to respect the typicality of the terroir and the grape varieties, marc penavayre only uses natural yeasts present on the skin of the grapes at the time of harvest. for this vintage a cold terroir, marked by a high clay content where the negrette ripens slowly was chosen. resolutely built for the fruit, the grapes have not undergone any pumping over or punching down. just time. aged for 12 months in vats, this wine is bottled early in order to retain its fruit. alabets from domaine plaisance penavayre is ripe and generous, low in acidity, this pure negrette jovially delivers beautiful flavors of black fruits and liquorice. “pure negrette of good concentration, clear taste and decided length”
