the chantal lescure estate, located in nuit-saint-georges, was bought by eric rousseau, head of one of the iconic estates in burgundy, and by a dijon man, jean-philippe girard, former boss of eurogerm. they carry out a gentle vinification, attentive to the particularities of each terroir, and practice a long maturation on lees, in burgundian pieces and in 500 litre barrels the wine is bottled on the estate, without filtration or fining. living terroirs, authentic wines. the talented françois chaveriat currently manages his discreet but efficient domain, the 2014 vintage has a sweet nose , strawberry jam , cherry , plum , cedar and incense rounded palate , with juicy acidity and without tannins.
