"nit de les garnatxes llicorella 2020 is a spanish red wine produced in the priorat region of catalonia. it is made from grapes grown in an ecological and biodynamic way, with great attention paid to quality and sustainability. this wine is mainly made from the grenache grape variety (garnacha in spanish), which is grown on schist-rich soils, called ""llicorella"" in catalan. this gives the wine an intense, almost opaque dark red colour. on the nose, la nit de les garnatxes llicorella 2020 has aromas of black fruits, such as black cherry and blackberry, as well as hints of liquorice, spice and vanilla from the oak ageing process. on the palate, the wine is dry and full-bodied, with a velvety texture and firm but elegant tannins. black fruit and spice flavours develop, with a touch of minerality and balanced acidity. the finish is long and persistent, with notes of black fruit and toasted oak lingering on the palate. nit de les garnatxes llicorella 2020 is a wine for keeping that can be enjoyed now, but will reach its peak after a few years of bottle ageing. it is recommended to be served at a temperature of around 16-18°c, accompanied by red meat dishes, game or strong cheeses."
