"the brunello di montalcino from the winery ragnaie was born in vineyards located on the lume spento pass, which is the highest point of the entire montalcino region. it is produced exclusively with sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. fermentation takes place in cement tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°c for 30 days. afterwards, the wine is aged in barrels for 36 months before being bottled. this brunello is characterized by a ruby red color, with garnet reflections. the nose opens with delicate aromas of nutmeg and liquorice, enriched with pleasant notes of violet. on the palate, it is warm, enveloping, structured and pleasantly elegant. the wine has velvety and persistent tannins. perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce and mushrooms, it is ideal in combination with risotto, stews, roasts and game."
