the youngest wine of the burgos winery pago de los capellanes has become a real best-seller, a wine that is always in great demand. it is made from 100% tempranillo grapes from the vineyards of santa gadea, an estate with poor clay-limestone soils very characteristic of the terroir. the low fertility of the soils results in low yields of great quality; the grapes are small and not too abundant, but their aromas are excellent. this is an elegant red wine that makes clear the reason for its popularity from the first sip, and it does so in a price segment in which it is not easy to stand out.
