chateau latour 2010 is a 1st grand cru classé from the region of bordeaux, france, and with designation of origin in the sub-area of pauillac. it is made with a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot. the grapes are depalillan and macerated in cold and the must is fermented in barrels for 15 days. the percentage of grapes of each variety varies in each vintage and the aging has been between 20 and 26 months in new french oak barrels. it has a floral aroma leaving reminders of pink and violet that protrude from the glass and that are entransformed in notes of dark berries such as blueberries and blackberries. it is full-bodied, dense, intense and with velvety tannins. on the palate we find notes of chocolate, berries and currant. a juicy and rich red with a wooden point of time in barrel. perfect to accompany big game, lamb to plant, veal to plate or duck.
