Since the eighteenth century our family has been dedicated to the cultivation of wines. We keep in our family archive, the document of purchase of the Celdoni de Forès farmhouse, from the year 1781. At present, the family owns about eighty hectares of vineyards in the Conca de Barberà, where the traditional varieties of the region (Macabeo, Parellada and Trepat are mainly grown). Our vineyards are spread between the municipalities of Pira, Forès, Sarral, Solivella, Barberà de la Conca and Montblanc. In 1991, Carles Andreu, continuing the family tradition, launched the cellar that bears his name. It was a small cellar located in the village of Pira and located in the old manor house of Cal Celdoni, taking advantage of the vats where the fermentation of the wines was formerly carried out, respecting the vaults and architectural forms of the house, built in 1796.

Rich, complex and elegant. Aged in new French oak barrels for 6 months, then transferred to the cellars for another 26 months.

Style, balanced, crisp, dried herbs, tasty.

Made from a selection of base wines from Macabeu, Xarel.lo, Parellada, and Chardonnay, manually selected from their own best vineyards. Hand-harvested.

Second fermentation in bottle and remaining on its lees for a minimum of 34 months.

Golden straw colour, with fine, constant bubbles. Scented white fruit, dried herbs, toasted aromas and dried fruits with notes of its ageing in oak. It displays freshness on the palate, smooth and fruity with good acidity and structure, and a long, fresh finish.
