olivier and maxime, the sons of odile and henri david, who have been present on the estate for more than a decade, represent the fourth generation that will give a new lease of life to the henri david-heucq champagnes. the champagnes henri david-heucq are vinified in the purest champagne tradition, olivier is committed to create with passion unique vintages with finesse and elegance while maxime takes care of the vineyard by practicing sustainable viticulture. their champagne house is located in fleury-la-rivière, a charming wine-producing village on the hillside between epernay and reims, in the marne valley. their vineyard benefits from a limestone soil: the lutecian limestone which has the particularity of being composed of earth and many fossilized shells, which brings this particular minerality to their champagnes. henri david heucq rose (release 9o') is a champagne that underlines the atmosphere with its colour and fruitiness". this brut rosé is obtained by adding pinot meunier and pinot noir vinified in red to the blend. the cuvée is kept in the cellar for a minimum of 3 years.
