the bonnard house, founded in 1988 by frédéric and rolland, is one of the best addresses in the region for fine wines. the wines of the estate are acclaimed by the largest local tables. the presence of maison bonnard wines on the cards of the auberge du père bise** in talloires or the clos des sens*** in annecy. located on the steep limestone scree slopes of the montagnieu region, the estate practices an enlightened biodynamic viticulture. in the cellar, oenological artifices are forbidden. the estate relies on indigenous yeasts to ensure fermentation. the vinifications, parcel, are precise and made without sulphur. only a light sulphitage is made during bottling to ensure stable wines to the final consumer. for some time now, romain and anne-sophie have joined their uncle and father. the former is particularly invested in wineries and vines while the latter contributes with talent to highlight the wines of the estate. it is thus at the origin of a redesign of the graphic charter of the domain, sober and modern that highlights the substrate parcel from which is – and always has been – produced each cuvée of the domain.
