"the trade offers us the privilege of buying grapes from different terroirs in chablis. the chablis region has the particularity of producing very different wines. the main aim of the estate is to find our wine identity in this varied terroir. chardonnay is a formidable transmitter of the diversity of this soil. everything is done to protect and preserve the quality of the grapes that we buy from meticulous winegrowers by harvesting the parcels we choose themselves. the terroirs all produce different wines, which is why the origin is specified on the labels, for example: chablis terroir de courgis, chablis premier cru les vaillons ""les minots"", etc... the 2020 bourgogne côtes d’auxerre is nicely composed on the nose, unfurling to reveal orange pith and light grass clipping scents. the palate is well balanced, taut and focused, with a fine bead of acidity and just a touch of spiciness toward the finish. there’s good persistence on the aftertaste. recommended for the price."
