Perrier-Jouët : A House mixing tradition and creation
Since 1811, the Maison Perrier-Jouët has been making wines with a unique style, floral, racy, chiseled... Two centuries of transmission in the secret of the House's cellars, where each Cellar Master reveals his precious knowledge to his successor.
Hervé Deschamps became the 7th Cellar Master of the House of Perrier-Jouët in 1993. Prior to that, 10 years at the side of his predecessor allowed him to master the subtleties of the Perrier-Jouët signature and its unique floral tonality. Guardian of this knowledge, he now perpetuates and cultivates this precious heritage, meticulously shaping, chiseling and carving each of the vintages that go into his creations during blending.
Working in the vat, plot by plot, the Cellar Master tastes and tests again and again until he isolates the crus, making each cuvée a unique wine that expresses all the elegance and finesse characteristic of the Maison Perrier-Jouët. It is a 65-hectare vineyard, 99.2% classified on the Crus scale, built around 5 major crus without which this exceptional champagne cannot exist.
Subtle blends of lightness and elegance, the multiple facets of each of the champagnes in the collection reveal a wide range of aromas and a fine persistence. Floral, racy, chiseled: the signature of the House of Perrier-Jouët's champagnes.
