Jean François GANEVAT Large format
Jean-François Ganevat comes from a family with a long tradition of vine growing, a tradition that dates back to 1650. Ganevat began working with his father in the prestigious Domaine Jean-Marc Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet until 1998 when he returned to the Jura to take charge of the family's domaine, a little over 7 hectares where 17 local varieties live side by side, with which he produces nearly 40 different wines each year.
Known as Fanfan to his friends, he is one of the leaders in biodynamic viticulture, using natural plant preparations to protect his vines (nettle herbal tea, horsetail...), using only indigenous yeasts naturally present in the grapes, and vinifying without the aid of sulphur, clarification or filtration.
