The Ardèche, a department that is part of the Rhône-Alpes Region, is located between the departments of Gard, Lozère, Isère, Drôme and Vaucluse. Rough territory, with a variety of landscapes and soils, with marly and limestone soils and spectacular gorges. This great diversity of soils makes it possible to differentiate the terroirs of this geographical region thanks to the plantations of fig trees, Scots pines, chestnut trees and lavender.
The country of the Ardèche, wine of departmental appellation and geographical area, is rich by its disparity of vineyards. The grape varieties of these whites, are the chardonnay and the viognier which give rounder and more supple wines.
