Olivier Poussier, Best Sommelier of the World 2000, went to New Zealand to blind taste the local wines. Here is his commentary on the Martinborough white wine. He gave it a score of 17/20.
Olivier Poussier: "Beautiful robe with a fair definition of the grape variety without excess, the style is precise on this morello cherry and spicy side. A quality woody, a rather racy ensemble without heaviness with a beautiful sap. The mouth is elegant without being extracted, a nice wine. "
