The Aloxe-Corton appellation covers a total area of 120 hectares, spread over the communes of Aloxe-Corton and Ladoix-Serrigny.
The wines produced in Aloxe-Corton mainly hold the Village appellation, the 14 remaining vintages being Premiers Crus. Aloxe-Corton benefits from the varied soils of the Montagne de Corton, with brown, almost red soils, silica and chaillots.
The red wines of Aloxe-Corton are renowned for their generosity, elegance, richness in fruit and their formidable structure.
