Chapelle-Chambertinis one of the 9 Grands Crus of the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin. Chapelle-Chambertin covers a total area of 5.48 hectares. The vines planted in Pinot Noir benefit from diversified soils, with a clayey-limestone slope and a top of slope composed of brown earth, silt and gravelly scree.
The red wines of Chapelle-Chambertin are characterized by their spicy (liquorice, vanilla), floral (roses, violets) and fruity (red fruits, black fruits) aromas and are complex, fine and elegant. Les Chapelle-Chambertin can be kept for about ten years.
