Present on nearly 17 hectares in the commune of Morey-Saint-Denis, Clos de la Roche is a "Grand Cru " appellation of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy. The vines of Clos de la Roche are planted on thin soils, poor in gravel with large blocks of stone.
The Clos de la Roche appellation produces only red Pinot Noir wines. They prove to be complex, powerful and of tremendous depth, developing scents of red fruits, black fruits, truffles and roasted notes. The production this rich and full-bodied Grand Cru amounts to 589 hectoliters per year. It undoubtedly has the best ageing potential in Morey-Saint-Denis.
