Clos Saint-Denis is a Grand Cru appellation of the Côte de Nuits. Clos Saint-Denis covers an area of more than 6 hectares, in the Morey-Saint-Denis commune.
The vines enjoy a terroir made up of clayey-limestone soils.
The Clos Saint Denis has been known since the 11th century. It is a grand cru red wine from Morey Saint Denis whose vines grow at an altitude of 320 meters on the hillside of Morey. Only 25,000 bottles, a great maximum, are present on the market each year.The wines produced on the Clos Saint-Denis appellation are only Pinot Noir reds.
