The red Faugères is produced in the Languedoc-Roussillon vineyard in the southwest of France. The wines of Faugères are certainly the great wines of the Languedoc. This vineyard produces excellent and very fine wines. The vineyard is nestled close to the Montagne Noire in the north of the Hérault department. The climate is very dry, it is a warm soil, the dominant presence of schist reinforces this feeling of warmth.
The red faugères wine is very complete, its color is dark garnet with purple reflections in its youth. It is a wine that deserves to be kept in the cellar for at least 5 years.
