Cultivated with passion by young winegrowers enriched by their experience and their travels, the wines of Vinsobres draw their richness from the blend of the qualities of varied, rich and complementary terroirs. Very stony, red to brown, the soils of the appellation concentrate the heat and allow the early blossoming and concentration of the grapes. Made mainly from Grenache and Syrah, they produce red wines with a deep color, a complex and harmonious nose and spicy flavors, suitable for aging.
Grenache, a traditional Côtes du Rhône grape variety, represents more than 70% of the plantations in the commune. Syrah, which is particularly successful on the slightly cooler plots represents a little less than 20%.
