Valles de Benavente is a Geographical Indication entitled to the mention Quality Wine used to designate quality wines originating from the wine-growing region of the northwestern province of Zamora, located around the city of Benavente, in Castilla y León, Spain.
The wines produced under this indication come exclusively from grapes of the red grape varieties Tempranillo, Prieto Picudo and Mencía. Red wines, as well as crianza and reserva wines are produced.
