Chassagne-Montrachet is a French wine with an appellation d'origine contrôlée, produced in part of the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet, in the department of Côte-d'Or, and a small part of Remigny, in Saône-et-Loire.
Chassagne-Montrachet is classified among the communal appellations of the Côte de Beaune vineyard, with 57 different premiers crus. The fame of the appellation is helped by the three other appellations of the commune, classified as grands crus: the montrachet, the bâtard-montrachet and the criots-bâtard-montrachet.
