The Nuits-Saint-Georges wine appellation covers more than 300 hectares in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, a vineyard shared between the communes of Nuits-Saint-Georges and Premeaux-Prissey.
Of the totality of the climates of Nuits-Saint-Georges, 41 are classified as Premier Cru. On the northernmost part, the vines are planted on soils composed of gravelly silt and alluvium. Those located in the southernmost part are composed of silt and rocks. The white wines of Chardonnay reveal brioche, honey, floral aromas and are strong in alcohol.
