located in the prestigious commune of saint julien, château peymartin belongs to the henri martin estate, owner of château gloria and château saint-pierre. the saint-julien appellation covers 900 hectares and produces 45,000 hectoliters of wine per year. the wines, from a terroir characterized by very soft hillsides, are exceptional. we present here the second wine of château gloria. this wine is composed of 65% cabernet sauvignon, 25% merlot and 10% petit verdot. it is produced with the young vines of the property. it is a saint-julien that can be drunk earlier. the grapes are harvested by hand and the wine is made in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. château peymartin is aged in barrels for twelve months, a third of which is renewed each year. thick blue-red color. fruity, with oak, black currant, dark chocolate, coffee and herbs. fruity, dark berries, plum, coffee and dark chocolate. pleasant fruity aftertaste.
