"the end of his winemaking, however, did not mark the end of his vines. after the death of charles coquet, his vines were preserved and transmitted to the next generation. 100 years after the creation of the brand, he decided to revive the spirit of champagne charles coquet. building on 20 years of experience working at my in-laws family’s winery in 2020, he revived charles coquet’s production, wishing to both pursue his family’s winery legacy and write a new page in the brand’s history. offering up aromas of rips citrus fruit, yellow apples and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and vinous, with a comparatively open-knot, fleshy profile, concluding with a chalky and precise finish."
