"on 2015, the estate decided to do a special bottling for pommard rugiens and malconsorts christiane. indeed, 2015 is an important anniversary for malconsorts christiane which was first produced in 2005. it is also the first vintage after hubert’s departure and the property wanted to honour his heritage by dedicating a cuvée to him from 2015. it will be the pommard premier cru ""rugiens bas – hubert"" made from a careful selection of the best grapes of this vineyard. the «rejected» grapes will be declassified so that there will always be only one cuvée of rugiens in a given vintage. it will be either the classic pommard ""rugiens"" or the pommard ""rugiens hubert"" which will only be made in vintages the team thinks the conditions are good to produce an exceptional wine. for 2015, to honour both parents, only 808 pairs of magnums will be sold in a beautiful wooden box."
